LCAP (Local Control Accountability Plan) Goal:
|
Goal 1: All students will receive a high quality education in a safe and welcoming environment with equitable and high expectations, access to technology, and instruction in the California State Standards that prepare them for college and career. Goal 4: Focus scholars, specifically Black/African American students, Foster Youth, students experiencing homelessness, students with disabilities and emerging bilingual students, will experience culturally responsive practices and instruction, high expectations, equal access to educational opportunities, within an educational environment that builds trust and inclusive partnerships between the students, parents/guardians and staff.

Summary:
|
Four students from Westwood created a slideshow and shared with their general education peers, to share information about Deafness and how it impacts them. They also advocated for an Assembly Bill that would benefit DHH individuals in getting the medical care and related devices they need. Their presentation is being brought to the Board.
