Summary: Purchase Requisition #R124283 for vendor, Sysco Corporation, is for opening food order for the 2021-2022 school year for the Food & Nutrition Services Department. The opening food order cost is $235,000 in the 2021-2022 school year. This is according to the Hayward Unified School District Food Product Bid #19.103, Item #25. An updated agreement will be presented to the Board of Education once the Hayward Unified School District Board of Education approves the new agreement awarded to Sysco/San Francisco allowing Mt. Diablo Unified School District to exercise the 'Piggyback" clause for the 2021-2022 school year.
