Background: The attached change order summary list and backup documents describe (5) scope changes to BID1871 Paving at Maintenance & Operations Complex. The (5) scope changes involve (8) separate Change Order Requests (COR’s). The Architect, MDUSD Construction Manager and District Administration have reviewed each request. The work has been authorized for all aforementioned COR’s.
Current Consideration: Ratification of the (8) COR’s authorization of the addition of the approved amounts to the original contract. The contractor may bill for the additional work once approved by the board as the scope has been verified as complete.
Fiscal Impact: The total cost of the (8) COR’s is an increase of $43,476.59. This project is funded by Measure C General Obligation Bond and no additional funding is necessary.
