Summary:

|
Sonja Biggs Educational Services is an Independent Service Contractor (ISC) for Related Service Providers for school-based services that are identified on Individual Education Plans (IEP's). When the district (MDUSD) is not able to fill all open positions with district employees, the use of contract agencies is necessary to ensure that MDUSD is in compliance with state and federal laws that govern special education. Sonja Biggs Educational Services is a company that will be utilized to provide services to students with visual impairments to ensure that all of MDUSD's needed services are covered for the 2019-2020 school year. Sonja Biggs Educational Services has found one Teacher of Visually Impaired to assist in our current opening. The MDUSD Human Resources Department and the Special Education Department continue to recruit and hire district employees. |
