Summary:
|
On an annual basis, the Title IV Indian Education Consortium Agreement must be update. Martinez Unified School District is the fiscal agent of the Consortium Agreement. The American Indian Culture and Education Program provides tutoring support from trained para-educators in math and language arts for our Native American students in grades K-8th. The Title VI program also offers Native American cultural activities for the students and parents in the program, which includes the Winter Gathering, The Ways if Our Ancestors summer camp and cultural presentations and projects. There are currently 29 Mt. Diablo students participating in the program. |
