Summary:

Ascend Rehab is a non-public agency (NPA) that provides Speech and Language Pathology and Occupational Therapy for school based services that are identified on Individual Education Plans (IEP's). When the Mt. Diablo Unified School District is not able to fill all open positions with district employees, the use of contract agencies is necessary to ensure that we are in compliance with state and federal law that govern special education. Ascend Rehab is a company that is utilized to provide these serviecs in order to ensure that all of our needed Speech and Occupational Therapy Services are covered for the 2020.2021 school year. Mt. Diablo Unified School District Human Resources and Special Education continues to recruit and hire district employees. |
