Summary:
|
The Educator Effectiveness 2021–26 Grant is included in AB 130, Chapter 44, Section 22 providing funds to school districts to provide professional learning and to promote educator equity, quality, and effectiveness. Funds may be expended during the 2021–22, 2022–23, 2023–24, 2024–25 and 2025–26 fiscal years. An annual data and expenditure report will be due each year on or before September 30th. Allowable uses for the funds include mentoring, coaching and induction, supporting the diversification of a school district's work force, standards-based training and professional development, training in SEL and trauma informed instruction, training in learning acceleration, universal design, language acquisition and biliteracy, training in ethnic studies, and early childhood education, including universal Transitional Kindergarten (TK.) Revisions to the plan are underlined and in bold. The plan must be brought back for Board approval by December 30, 2021. |
