Summary
:
Special education data accountability has changed in recent years as the State moved reporting from CASEMIS to CALPADS. In addition, the transportation department transitioned to an online enrollment system, reducing the need for manual entry of transportation applications.
While the semi-annual reporting of CALPADS will continue to be done through existing staff, the new position will assume the daily work that had previously been performed by a .7FTE database administrator and .5FTE secretary. Due to technology being used the positions can now be performed by one person.
