Summary:
Silverwood Elementary School is the Proof-of-Concept site for the Measure J-funded network refresh, consisting of structured cabling, network equipment, network cabinets, power distribution units, uninterruptable power supplies (UPS), phone handsets, clocks/bells/speakers, security cameras, multipurpose room audio-visual equipment, and installation services. Control and management systems for the refreshed network hardware and services, including Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP), and mass notification will be included in operational budgets. Additional items, including equipment and services to provide dedicated electrical circuits for network cabinets will be brought forward at a later board meeting.
