Mt. Diablo Unified School District Secondary and Adult Education Division seek Governing Board approval to submit applications for supplemental funding of district-wide Career Technical Education through the Carl D. Perkins Career and Technical Education Grant for the 2020-2021 school-year. The MDUSD K-12 Secondary allocation is anticipated to be between $150,000 and $250,000. The Mt. Diablo Adult Education (MDAE) allocation is anticipated to be between $25,000 and $50,000, and will be determined by the Consortium Fiscal Agent, Martinez Adult Education, under the guidelines and rules of the Carl D. Perkins Grant. Mt. Diablo Adult Education is required to participate in the Contra Costa County Carl D. Perkins Grant K-12 Adult Education Consortium due to the fact that the anticipated allocation will be less than $50,000.
