Summary:
|
Mt. Diablo Unified School District continues to apply for Federal Government Discounts in a program called E-rate. Every year MDUSD receives approximately hundreds of thousands of dollars in discounts to fund Internet bandwidth and networking equipment.
To assist the District in gaining the maximum benefit from the e-rate process we solicited for Request for Proposals (RFPs) for RFP #1872 E-Rate Consultant Services. Consultant's duties will include, but not limited to: Processing E-rate discounts, filing application assistance, assisting in writing the RFP for equipment procurement, following up with Federal inquiries, follow-through with e-rate vendors on projects, and funds. The consultant's rate may be increased due to any additional services requested by the District, as needed.
District received seven (7) Proposals on October 12, 2020. Three (3) of the Proposals were deemed nonresponsive. Four (4) Proposals were reviewed by the District team, and two (2) of the vendors were invited for interviews on October 16, 2020. The most responsive and responsible vendor was E-Rate Consulting. |
