|
National Alliance on Mental Illness Contra Costa County (NAMI) provides support, outreach, education and advocacy to individuals and families affected by mental illness. NAMI has been assisting people and families affected by mental illness in Contra Costa County for over 30 years. NAMI will be one of several agencies that serve on the MDUSD Student Attendance Review Board (SARB) to support students who have been identified as being chronically truant. NAMI’s experience with mental illness is needed at this time when many students who are chronically truant have been diagnosed with a variety of mental illness disorders. |
