Summary:
|
Mt. Diablo High School's International Hospitality & Tourism Academy (IHTA) is requesting permission to fly to Epcot Center in Florida, May 2-6, 2016. Twenty four students will be flying with 5 chaperones to Florida to meet the NASA team that created the tower gardens. They will be renting a home in Florida for their stay and rent vans to transport the students while in Florida. Additionally, they will meet with local schools regarding nutrition. |

Funding:

The Walnut Creek Wellness City Challenge and community partners will be paying all the expenses. The trip is expected to cost $20,000. |

Fiscal Impact: |
There will be no impact to the District's budget as the Wellness City Challenge will pay expenses. |
