Summary:
Review and Potential Approval of the Indian Education Consortium Agreement for the Indian Education Title VI Grant in partnership with Martinez Unified School District who serves as the fiscal agent. Mt. Diablo has been a part of the consortium for over 31 years which provides cultural activities for students and parents as well as tutoring support from trained para-educators in math and language arts for Native American students in grades K-8 in Mt. Diablo Unified. Mt. Diablo has 79 students registered in the program with proof of eligibility to participate and receive services. The grant amount varies because it is based on students registering and eligibility requirements. The grant is estimated at $65,000
