Modules will support and enrich the expanded learning program at 23 expanded learning TK-12 schools for the 2025 summer program. Staff will facilitate the hands-on, engaging immersive month-long art projects that curate a space for building self-esteem, creativity, self-expression, memory and visual processing, neural connections and problem-solving, development of motor skills and fun in a club based format. Their modules include high-quality supplies and detailed lesson plans within each box. With each lesson, students create a unique art piece of their own. The modules are: Cactus Collage (K-12), Proper Pets (K-12), Positively Negative with Tysen Knight Experience (4-5), Mid-Century Modern with Tysen Knight Experience (6-8), Tysen Knight Experience with Canvas (9-12) . https://www.moxieboxart.com/ The total purchase total for MoxieBox Art Inc art kits ($226,379.05) for up to 2,500 students across 23 sites, anticipated sales tax not indicated in the quote ($872.04), MoxieBox Art Inc independent service contract for videography ($3,550.00), and Tysen Knight Productions independent service contract ($16,500.00) is $247,301.09. MoxieBox Art was reviewed as one of our students' favorite activities during the past school year and the summer of 2024 program. MoxieBox is designed for teachers and recreation staff to easily facilitate the program with step-by-step instructions and all materials included Meets standards for Visual and Performing Arts and enrichment component of ASES and ELOP Plans Tysen Knight Experience for middle and high school students will give students a career exploration, engaging experience with an artist who is relatable and internationally recognized. |
