Summary:
|
The Mt. Diablo Adult Education (MDAE) CTEC program national accreditation process with the Council on Occupational Education (COE) requires the Mt. Diablo Unified School District Governing Board's approval of each individual CTEC training program course title with corresponding training hours. While the MDUSD Board of Education annually approves the list of all courses offered by MDAE, COE requires this additional level of board approval of the comprehensive training programs listed on the attached document.
Each CTEC training program has an advisory committee comprised of industry representatives who provide extensive input to curriculum content and externship preparation and monitoring. This input, along with employers who partner with Mt. Diablo Adult Education to provide externships as part of each training program, ensures MDAE graduates are fully prepared for workplace success. |
