Summary:

|
The PROTECT program, which has been vetted by the U.S. Department of HHS - Office on Trafficking in Persons, is at no cost to the district and would offer a four-pronged approach to prevention: protocol, training, curriculum, and comprehensive research.
Lessons would be provided in two or three short lessons to students at age and developmentally appropriate levels and families would have the right to opt their children out of the lessons.
Staff, stakeholders, and parents/caregivers would all have the opportunity to be trained. |
