Summary:
To meet federal and state guidelines and funding requirements, employees shall support and participate in the Agency’s reopening plans, for the 2020-21 full fiscal year, current employees (i.e. contracted employees in paid status on May 12, 2021, and also not in a full-year unpaid leave status for 2020-2021) will receive a one-time Reopening Payment up to $1500.00 based on 1.0 FTE (prorated for employees working less than a 1.0 FTE). $1,500 is the maximum stipend to be given to any employee, regardless of the employee FTE allocation.

Recommendation
Move to approve the one-time stipend for Mt. Diablo Unified School District for the 2020-21 full fiscal year, current employees (i.e. contracted employees in paid status on May 12, 2021, and also not in a full-year unpaid leave status for 2020-2021) will receive a one-time Reopening Payment up to $1500.00 based on 1.0 FTE (prorated for employees working less than a 1.0 FTE). $1,500 is the maximum stipend to be given to any employee, regardless of the employee FTE allocation.
