Summary:
|
The District continues to work to keep our legal costs to the lowest possible level, while also ensuring we have some experts in different specific legal areas related directly to school districts (e.g. experts in Negotiations, or in Disability/Medical related HR issues). This firm, which was a firm used often in the past by the District, continues to be critical to keeping the District in a position to avoid liability or errors in HR. We did not anticipate needing the firm to a high degree in the Fall, but do recommend approval to have them continue to be a firm HR has available as needed. |
